What is accessibility
Accessibility means providing flexible options to accommodate each user’s needs and preferences, and ensuring the computer technology used for web pages, applications and software are as flexible and useful as can be made.
What do we do
British Pet Insurance Services website has been designed to enable access for as many visitors as possible. We will be continuing to review and improve our websites for accessibility to ensure we make them as clear and effective as possible.
To ensure that we meet or exceed the requirements of the United Kingdom’s Equality Act 2010, and subsequently the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), we continually review our site and modify pages to remove any problems for people with disabilities.
All pages on our website are accessible to people who use screen reading software and to those with other vision or mobility impairments. We use Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to create pages and documents that are accessible to our customers. In creating HTML documents, we follow WAI standards; for example, we include alternate text to describe graphics; and provide access keys on our key hyperlinks.
