Job Title: Insurance Executive
Job Type: Permanent / Full Time
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Office based – Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Reports to: Team Leader

Job Overview & Responsibilities

Do you work in insurance and looking for a new challenge?

We are pet and pet business insurance providers and looking for a fantastic individual to join our team and to grow, expand and develop their skills as we launch and develop our brands across the UK and Europe.

This is a varied role that includes sales, customer service and administration.

  • Answer and resolve customer queries and demonstrate ownership of the task
  • General policy administration
  • Pro-actively follow up insurance enquiries to convert to an insurance policy
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is exceeded
  • Produce high quality documentation and maintain records on our systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the company products
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement with a solution-based attitude
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
  • Ensure company and regulatory policies are complied with
  • Undertake regular learning and development in line with company and FCA requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within an insurance industry role
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a customer facing / support role
  • Good general education, including GCSE’s (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • A CII qualification (desired but not essential)
  • Customer focussed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Team player
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
  • Competent with ICT and keen to learn and develop new systems
  • A love of pets
